Left to right, back row: John, William, James Anderson, Matthew ("Dock"); front row: Eleanor, Permelia, Sarah, and Jane. Sometime in the mid to late 1800's the adult children of James and Mary Ann McKenzie Means had a reunion at which this picture was taken. John Means, who lived in Pike County, Georgia, and founded the town of Meansville, was my great-great grandfather.
