Fincher Family

My earliest known Fincher lineage begins circa 1626 in Worcestershire, England, with Francis Fincher, the Elder. However, there is a missing link between my great great grandfather Joseph Fincher (born circa 1780 in North Carolina) and his parentage.  More research needs to be accomplished in order to prove that the supposed father of my Joseph was actually Jonathan who moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina circa 1755.  There is no doubt that the two men were closely connected -- through land transactions, adjacent properties, census records, etc.
