Jane, born 26 January 1829, was the 8th child of James and Mary Ann McKenzie Means.  She and Stephen Elliot were married in Upson(?) County, Georgia, on 24 March 1861.  If another researcher has information about the children of this couple, I hope you will contact me at mlwood@samford.edu.
