I. Mary¹ Brooks. She was born circa 1822 in Georgia. Mary married Francis L. Williams on 24 January 1839, in Henry County, Georgia.

Mary and her three children were named in the will of her father, Thomas Brooks (Spalding County, Georgia, Will Book A).

A. William² Williams. He was listed as a farm laborer in the home of his uncle William J. Brooks in Fayette County Census of 1870. He was born in Georgia.

B. Joseph² Williams.

C. Charlie² Williams.
